Do not worry ! Shanghai is a nice place to live. Now it has quite a number of Indians in it, what with the booming chinese economy and more and more Indian ( and foreign) companies opening their offices here.
I have been living here since September 2005, and I must say from the Indians' perspective that it has become better - There istwo only one indian stores ( more about them in a seperate post ) where you can get indian groceries. See the links for more details about them. Another super market here , Pines, has started storing Indian groceries too. I think others might follow suit soon.
